Description
A double-sided bucket hat in 100% cotton, made to order for clubs, sponsors and fan-merchandise programmes. Both faces are cotton and both are finished to the same standard, so the hat can be turned inside out and worn either way: a two-tone club build one day, a plain colourway the next. We produce this construction for clubs across the Bundesliga and other European leagues, and the hat shown here is one of those colourways.
Made to your artwork
Every hat is produced from your artwork. That covers a club crest or sponsor mark in embroidery, a flat logo in silk screen, or a full-colour design by digital print. Colours are matched to Pantone references at both the fabric and the decoration stage, so the two faces sit together without a colour clash.
Construction and fabric
The base is 100% cotton on both faces, with no synthetic lining between them, which gives the hat a soft hand-feel and lets it breathe on a warm day. Polyester, poly-cotton and nylon builds are available on the same construction if you need a lighter weight or a lower unit cost.
Crown detail and finishing
The cotton crown can be vented with air eyelets: embroidered eyelets in a matching or contrasting thread, or custom metal eyelets when the programme is retail-facing. Chin straps and adjustable cords are made in the same order, and woven labels, care labels and hang tags can be added.
Printing limits on cotton
A full all-over print on cotton is done by digital print, and because the fabric has to be pre-treated, that method starts at 500 pcs. Embroidery and silk screen start at the standard 200 pcs. Tell us which face carries which treatment and we will quote the two together.
Colours
Colourways come from our stock cotton range, so small and mid-sized runs can be matched to a club or sponsor palette without a dyeing lead time. Custom dyeing is available as well: one dye lot is around 2,000 metres of fabric, which suits season-long programmes and full-range rollouts rather than one-off orders.

Common questions
How does the two-sided construction work?
The two cotton faces are sewn together with no lining between them, so the hat can be worn either way round. Both faces are finished, including the brim edge, so turning it inside out does not expose an unfinished seam.
Can the two faces carry different colours or designs?
Yes. A second colourway on the reverse is the most common request: a two-tone or striped face on one side and a plain club colour on the other. In the club and sponsor work we handle, the club crest and the sponsor mark normally sit on the same face rather than one on each side.
Can the crown have ventilation eyelets?
Yes. On cotton we normally finish with embroidered eyelets, stitched in a matching or contrasting colour, and we can set custom metal eyelets instead when the hat is for retail. Tell us which you need at the quoting stage, because it changes the finishing step.
Can you make this in polyester instead of cotton?
Yes. The same two-sided construction is available in polyester, which is lighter and usually lower cost per unit, and in poly-cotton and nylon. Send us the artwork and we will quote cotton and polyester side by side.
What about testing for European and US buyers?
Our materials are covered by EN71 and CPSIA test reports, and our material suppliers meet REACH, azo and phthalate requirements. Tell us the standard you need before the order is placed and we will make to it; reports are issued on request. We also hold GRS certification, so recycled-content builds can be quoted when a buyer needs them.
